OGILVY PUSHPIN PROJECT

At the Ogilvy Chicago office, my art director and I were given the assignment to create "fun posters" to decorate the office hallways. We thought we could do better than that. So we recreated a portrait of David Ogilvy using the very things he used to post all of his work. Pushpins.

Using only primary colors we carefully mapped and placed 19,000 pushpins. The whole agency lent their thumbs to help us create this beautiful homage, and we used actual sound bites of Mr. Ogilvy in the soundtrack. This effort received press from multiple news and advertising media outlets. But most importantly, it sits as the centerpiece of the agency as you walk into the lobby.
